6 p.m. on LIFE Gretchen Carl­son: Break­ing the Si­lence

The first of three doc­u­men­taries to air as part of for­mer Fox News per­son­al­ity Gretchen Carl­son’s deal with A&E Net­works, this new twohour film fol­lows Carl­son as she trav­els across the United States look­ing for pre­vi­ously undis­closed sto­ries of sex­ual harass­ment and abuse, with al­leged in­ci­dents at such di­verse venues as fast-food gi­ant McDon­ald’s and a ru­ral fire depart­ment. In the process, Carl­son also re­veals new de­tails of the toll her law­suit against for­mer Fox News chair­man Roger Ailes took on her fam­ily.

7 p.m. on BRAVO Van­der­pump Rules

Em­bar­rassed by her birth­day melt­down, Stassi tries to find a way to make things up to Beau, while James, newly sober, starts tak­ing steps to mend his old friend­ship with Lala in the new episode “Love Thy Mother.” Jax stirs things up at a SUR staff meet­ing, while Kris­ten cel­e­brates the re­launch of her tshirt line and the Toms pitch some cock­tail ideas to Lisa.

8 p.m. on FOX The Pas­sage

Based on nov­el­ist Justin Cronin’s best-sell­ing tril­ogy, this thriller se­ries fo­cuses on a se­cret med­i­cal fa­cil­ity where sci­en­tists are ex­per­i­ment­ing with a dan­ger­ous virus that could lead to the cure for all dis­ease but also has the po­ten­tial to wipe out all hu­man life. Saniyya Sid­ney and Mark-Paul Gos­se­laar star; Jamie McShane, Em­manuelle Chriqui and Henry Ian Cu­sick also are fea­tured.

8 p.m. on CBS Mag­num P.I.

Mag­num and Hig­gins (Jay Her­nan­dez, Perdita Weeks, both pic­tured) are un­der­stand­ably shaken when one of her for­mer MI6 col­leagues abruptly turns up nurs­ing a fresh gun­shot wound in the new episode “Day of the Viper.” They’re even more alarmed, how­ever, by the news he has to de­liver: The as­sas­sin who killed Hig­gins’ true love has resur­faced on Oahu. While he and Hig­gins spring into ac­tion, Mag­num asks Rick (Zachary Knighton) to take over a case, which un­for­tu­nately soon goes side­ways. Ian Pryce guest stars.

9 p.m. on ABC The Good Doc­tor

The hos­pi­tal is still un­der quar­an­tine, and the chaos and noise of the emer­gency room threaten to over­whelm Shaun (Fred­die High­more) as this hit med­i­cal drama re­turns with the new episode “Quar­an­tine Part Two.” Else­where, while Mor­gan (Fiona Gubel­mann) strug­gles against long odds to keep her pa­tients alive, Dr. Lim (Christina Chang) fights for her own life. De­spite the quar­an­tine, Dr. Me­len­dez and Claire (Ni­cholas Gon­za­lez, An­to­nia Thomas) des­per­ately search for a way to com­plete their pa­tient’s bone-mar­row trans­plant.
