Authorities said a 19-year-old man in a white Dodge Charger with a flat tire led police on a chase from Alto Street down Agua Fría Street on Saturday, hitting two other vehicles along the way.

Nobody, including those in the other vehicles, was injured, Santa Fe police Lt. Paul Joye said.

Joye said that sometime around 5:30 p.m., police got a call about shots fired at Alto Park, also known as Bicentennial Park. Arriving officers saw the Charger, which had a flat tire, parked beside a blue pickup at the park.

“The white Charger fled,” Joye said.

Police pursued the car down Agua Fría, where it crashed into a another vehicle near Henry Lynch Road. The suspect surrendered to police on Agua Fría near Meadows Road.

Nathaniel Bueno-Diaz of Santa Fe was arrested, Joye said.

According to Santa Fe County detention records, Bueno-Diaz also was arrested last month and spent six days in jail on a charge of failing to appear in court.
