Fall is almost here and the Zia Singers, a Santa Fe women’s chorus, will hold auditions at 9 a.m. on three Tuesdays, Sept. 10, 17 & 24, at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, 550 W. San Mateo. If you love to sing, this is your opportunity to meet and audition with Zia Singers Artistic Director Aaron Howe. The Zias look forward to adding new voices to the ensemble. “CONSIDERING MATTHEW SHEPARD” CONCERT at United Church of Santa Fe, Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3:00 p.m. Craig Hella Johnson’s powerful oratorio on the life and death of Matthew Shepard, the young gay man who was killed in a hate crime in Wyoming in 1998.
