Fall is almost here and the Zia Singers, a Santa Fe women’s chorus, will hold auditions at 9 a.m. on three Tuesdays, Sept. 10, 17 & 24, at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, 550 W. San Mateo. If you love to sing, this is your opportunit­y to meet and audition with Zia Singers Artistic Director Aaron Howe. The Zias look forward to adding new voices to the ensemble. “CONSIDERIN­G MATTHEW SHEPARD” CONCERT at United Church of Santa Fe, Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3:00 p.m. Craig Hella Johnson’s powerful oratorio on the life and death of Matthew Shepard, the young gay man who was killed in a hate crime in Wyoming in 1998.
