World’s Biggest Tiger Shark
In this new one-hour special, marine biologist Kori Garza teams up with Emmy-winning underwater cinematographer Andy Casagrande for an expedition to French Polynesia, where the pair plans to track Kamakai, one of the largest tiger sharks on record. Upon arrival, their quest takes them to a remote lagoon, but instead of Kamakai, they stumble upon a discovery for shark science: a population of junior tiger sharks using cooperative hunting tactics. Casagrande captures this behavior on film for the first time.

The Alienist: Angel of Darkness Daniel Bruhl, Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning, pictured, return to their starring roles in this adaptation of novelist Caleb Carr’s sequel to his psychological thriller The Alienist, which earned six Emmy nominations for its 2018 TNT run. Set in late 19th-century New York, this follow-up opens as Sara Howard (Fanning), now a licensed detective, teams again with Dr. Laszlo Kreizler (Bruhl) and newly minted New York Times reporter John Moore (Evans) to find the kidnapped infant daughter of a Spanish dignitary. Douglas Smith, Matthew Shear and Ted Levine also return. Another episode immediately follows.

W. Kamau Bell returns to host season five of this Emmy-winning eight-part docuseries that explores communities across the United States to understand the unique challenges each of them faces. In the season premiere, Bell examines white supremacy and systemic racism in America, interlinked topics that are dominating the national conversation at the moment. Upcoming episodes will find Bell digging into such subjects as independent farming, the gig economy, reparations to disenfranchised minorities, the homeless crisis in Los Angeles and the public education system.
