After recently ending a relationship, Brooke Ethridge (Kimberley Sustad) isn’t happy to find herself back at the singles table at a wedding, the first of four consecutive such nuptial events on her social calendar. Also present, and in the same boat, is a recent acquaintance, Nate Thomas (Paul Campbell), who has his own reasons for being single. When they realize they have the same weddings coming up, they decide to become “wedding buddies,” but a misunderstanding complicates that arrangement of convenience in this 2020 romance.

It may be part of some clever scam, but while most people often daydream of being someone else at some point, a new episode called “Leading Double Lives” looks at individuals who took things a step further. They include Ferdinand Demara, who inspired the Tony Curtis movie The Great Impostor; Christian Gerhartsreiter, who posed as Clark Rockefeller, a fictional member of the famous family; and Anna Anderson, who claimed to be the Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia. William Shatner is host.
