The wildly prolific writer-director-producer Tyler Perry is the creator of this new sitcom, which opens as family man Jeremy (Na’im Lynn) loses his job. Reeling from this painful development, Jeremy decides to move his family back to his Georgia hometown to help his grandfather (J. Anthony Brown), who has just bought a dilapidated home for the elderly. Things look grim until Leroy and Cora Brown (David and Tamela Mann, pictured, reprising their Meet the Browns characters) step in to help run things. Another new episode immediately follows.

Vacation House Rules
After lying in neglect for years, a mountaintop cabin understandably is in desperate need of renovation in the new episode “Ski Cottage.” Happily, host and contractor Scott McGillivray and designer Debra Salmoni go all in on the makeover, turning the rustic, ramshackle cottage into a stunning ski chalet ready to start generating holiday rental income.

Jenny and Ross (Serinda Swan, Ehren Kassam) invite her dad, Gordon (Nicholas Campbell), and motherin-law (Arsinée Khanjian) to spend Thanksgiving with them, along with best pal Sabrina (guest star Jeananne Goossen) and colleague Alison (Tamara Podemski) in the new episode “All’s Well.” Liam (Éric Bruneau) responds to her emergency call when the plumbing breaks down, but the day totally hits the skids when an unidentified corpse turns up on Jenny’s property. Roger Cross also stars.

Co-hosts Rachel Lindsay and Travis Mills return for another season — this one fully self-shot, due to the pandemic — of helping hapless souls who were left hanging emotionally when someone in their life suddenly severed their connection without explanation. Among this season’s featured couples are Shannon, a Milwaukee club promoter, and Jay, a comic, who started as friends but became lovers over the next several months until he ghosted her on one of their scheduled date nights and never spoke to her again.
