GRACE R. GALLEGOS

Grace R. Gallegos, age 88, of Pecos, NM passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lower Colonias on the 4th of July, 1932 to Ramon V. and Candelaria Roybal. Amazing Grace was full of life. She loved to travel, play bingo, dance, tell jokes, make puzzles, babysit, bake, cook, cruise with friends, and visit the senior center. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she served as Catholic Daughter in Court #231 and Alter Society with numerous friends she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother Leandra; her brother Juan; sisters Maria, Nolia, and Tomasita. She is survived by her children; Lucille and huband Agapito, Esther and husband Sisto, Rosa, Sheryl, Diane, Dora, Lucinda, Florinda, and Cleofas; brothers, Cornelioa and Larry; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Services: Rosary will be held virtually on Facebook live on Sheryl Lynn Easley’s page Friday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m., prayed by the hermanos at the ranch. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 12th, at 10:00 a.m. at El Santo Nino Church in Colonias with a burial to follow at the Colonias Cemetery.
