In the new episode “Covered Costs,” Tarek and Christina, pictured, take a big risk as they buy a house in Orange, Calif., sight unseen. Once they are able to gain access to the structure, they discover that the interior has been heavily vandalized, and the owners covered up a disgusting pool in the backyard. Other problems rear their head in an old addition, and a sloping concrete walkway outside also may cause trouble.

Star Trek: Discovery

Violating chain of command and bypassing Starfleet’s orders, Lorca (Jason Isaacs) uses the biggest asset possessed by the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery — the ship itself — as a key component in his attempt to end the exhausting war with the Klingons once and for all, in the episode “Into the Forest I Go.” Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Shazad Latif and Anthony Rapp also star.
