Co-hosted by original stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, this new two-hour musical special celebrates the reopening of Broadway with a salute to Stephen Schwartz’s blockbuster musical reimagining of “The Wizard of Oz.” Musical highlights include some of the show’s biggest tunes, including “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good.” Also appearing during the telecast are Rita Moreno, Ariana Debose (the upcoming Steven Spielberg remake of “West Side Story”), Tony Award winner Gavin Creel, Alex Newell (“Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist”) and Amber Riley (“Glee”).
