Marking the 20th anniversary of the 2001 terror attacks on New York’s World Trade Center, filmmaker Daniel Bogado’s six-episode docuseries takes a fresh look at that assault via archival footage, eyewitness accounts, interviews with survivors and some previously unaired footage. Produced in partnership with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the series opens with “First Response,” which chronicles how the first firefighters arrive on the scene for their race against time to rescue trapped civilians after a hijacked airliner slams into the North Tower.
