“Imperfect High” (Lifetime — movie premiere, Sept. 18)
A follow-up to the well-received 2015 TV movie “Perfect High,” this new 2021 drama explores the harsh realities of teenage drug abuse, especially in terms of how peer pressure often exacerbates such behavior. The topic is presented from the perspective of Hanna Brooks (Nia Sioux), a new girl trying to fit in at Lakewood High School, where a popular student overdosed several years earlier. Sherri Shepherd and Ali Skovbye also star.
