JOEY PAYNE
Joey Payne fought a courageous battle with cancer and entered the loving arms of our savior Jesus on September 4, 2021 for his ultimate healing. He was a devoted husband and father, a joyful grandfather, a loving brother, a good son, uncle, and a friend to many. He left us filled with memories with his laughter, his silliness, his seriousness, and his animated passion on what he held near and dear. He had a deeply devoted love and adoration for his beautiful wife, Gloria. Seeing both of them have such a selfless love for their children was remarkable. The kindness in his eyes represented the kindness of his soul. His ability to light up a room with his smile and his contagious laugh brought joy to anyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He loved simple pleasures in life like fishing, hunting, camping, riding his Harley, listening to a mix of Country, Spanish, Rock-n-Roll and he loved his Broncos!
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria, their 5 children, Angel Garcia, Erica Alejo, Shante Alejo and husband David Lucero, Victoria, and Amber Rivera; his grandchildren, Faith, Jerimiah, Isaiah, Marcus, and Harmony; his parents, Margaret and Leroy Payne; his brothers and sisters, Lorie Soliz and Joe Herrera, Trudy and Aaron Dean, Judy and Rick Korge, Julie and Dino Medina, Jimmy and Marian Payne, Kelly and Robert Coriz, Tracy and Rick Padilla, Doug and Sandra Payne, Darren Payne and many, many nieces and nephews.
