New Mexico doesn’t need daylight saving time

Daylight saving time is not necessary. The summer days are long enough without it. Who needs to be eating dinner after 8 p.m.? And who needs an extra hour of darkness all winter long? Every year before daylight saving time, I am so happy to wake up with some sunlight. And now, yet again, look what’s happened! I vote to maintain Mountain Standard Time year ’round.
