and so many different areas, so your brain can always stay engaged and you can continually learn. Lately I’ve become more intrigued by places outside of Santa Fe. Where? Chama. Ted Rivera and I sold a house in Taos County last year. And right now we have a listing in Pendaries in San Miguel County. Have you worked with developers? Not on a big subdivision, but Janie Shafer and I represented Joe Boyden in the late 1990s, when he was doing a lot of spec homes in Eldorado.

Tell us about your involvements outside of your work in real estate.

I’ve helped with the annual build days held by theWomen’s Council of Realtors, but my main thing is the Española animal shelter, which I’ve been involved with for many years. I’ve been on the board or on committees for Española Humane and I’ve helped with fundraising. We did a great event last September that was held at SITE Santa Fe.
