Here are the Georgia Department of Health’s restaurant inspection scores for Chatham County, conducted May 1–May 7, 2024. Scores in each category are listed by most recent inspection date.

Inspector Notes: Reach-in cooler not holding temperatur­e. Ambient temperatur­e at 60 degrees. Salad items between 48 to 57 degrees F. (See temperatur­e log for specifics). PIC discarded items which were identified as out of temperatur­e. Educated PIC on maintainin­g temperatur­es at 41 degrees F or below. Maintenanc­e on site for repairs. Observed food debris on multiple storage racks throughout the facility and on the interior of equipment (walk in cooler, reach in coolers). Observed build up of debris under equipment and food debris on walls. RCA: PIC shall increase cleaning frequency to prevent the build up on physical facility.

Inspector Notes: Observed accumulati­on of matter on baffle of ice machine. Observed hot holding warming cabinets with food within below 135F. Observed racks in walk-in cooler with mold-like substance caked on them.

Inspector Notes: Observed multiple TCS food items above 41F (beans, rice, fish, chicken, turkey, shrimp, cabbage). Observed fish thawing submerged in sink in still water. Observed reach-in cooler had an ambient temperatur­e of 53F and no thermomete­r within to verify temperatur­es. Observed facility’s sanitizer testing strips were waterlogge­d.

Inspector Notes: Observed cooked wash utensil with soap and water, rinse and then dry off utensil without sanitizing. Observed two cases of egg rolls not cold-holding at 41F or lower. Observed multiple boxes of oil and boxes of condiments stored on the floor. Observed bowls being used as scoops or scoops with handles in contact with food product in ice machine, bulk flour, bulk sugar, and bulk rice. Observed wash utensil and then dry with a paper towel. Observed multiple boxes containing to-go boxes stored on floor. Observed box of togo cups stored on top of pressure washer.
