City man allegedly threatened 70-yearold with knife
During an argument with his girlfriend’s family, a man was arrested after pulling a knife and threatening two men on Sunday, according to court and police documents.
Police said Jose W. Perez-Hernandez, 35, of Westminster Street, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60-years-old, according to court documents.
When arraigned, Perez-Hernandez was released on personal recognizance and ordered to stay away from the victims and undergo a mental health evaluation, according to court documents.
He is slated to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on March 10.
