Heaven vs. Earth

- Bonnie Page Ask the Psychic

Dear Bonnie: When someone passes, why would they still want involvement with Earth when they can be in paradise with God and feast their eyes on beauty, not the frailties of human life? I cannot imagine looking back once I see the Lord. — Sharon

Dear Sharon: I so love your question because it gives me a chance to really think about what it would be like to go to heaven with the Lord but not have any contact with anyone I left here on Earth, which brought me great sadness.

Never to see or think again about my husband, children, grandchildren and everyone I love would cause great sadness.

Truly, the Lord would never wish this for you. Our father in heaven wants only the best for us, and we are His children. He never turns His eyes away from us, and I cannot fathom us wanting to do that to our loved ones when we leave this Earth.

Earth is our schoolroom where our soul hopefully learns many lessons with grace, and this helps our soul to grow and expand in knowledge and love because, truly, we are all here to learn to love each other.

The frailties of human life are what very much ends up making us better people. When we help those who are weaker than ourselves, we bless God in many ways. Here on Earth, when we see our children giving when they are not asked, helping those who cannot help themselves, or being a person about whom we are so proud that our hearts skip a beat, that is when we know in our hearts that we have done a great job raising our children to be kind and loving.

Isn’t that what God likes to see when he gazes upon us? I believe so. Everyone here has a reason to be here and lessons to learn, so whether you need help learning the lesson or are one helping others to learn, we all have our place in life.

Be the giver, not the taker. Tend to the sick and the weary. Be the person any father in heaven or on Earth would be proud of. I have often said I have had two great fathers, one on Earth and the other in heaven. I want only for both of my fathers to see me as a good person, trying hard to be someone they can be proud of. I only hope I am doing a good job.

As my readers know, I strengthened my gift of mediumship, which is being able to talk to those in heaven at the request of God. When I asked why, He replied, “The world is becoming a darker place, and we need more light.”

It is not always easy to tell people about what I do and why, but I am not one to go against God’s wishes. Since that time, I have given thousands of readings, and I can tell you firsthand when a mom gets to have a conversation with her son who has committed suicide, and she thought she never could, it changes her life and her thoughts about what heaven is like.

There are so many scenarios that I could bring to light, but the bottom line is that Heaven is for real, and God loves all His children. He loves everyone and knows we are here to learn and forgives us — all of us.

So to answer your question, I believe once you see the Lord’s face and feel His unconditional love for you and all His children, it will enlighten us and want very much to help and guide and watch over those we love who we have left behind.

Love knows no boundaries and I am one happy person who gets to do as

God has asked and help people know deep within their hearts, without a doubt, that love never dies and life goes on, even if it looks a little different.

It is up to you to see the beauty here on Earth, and if you look closely, you will see the beauty in all things. They do not have to be the majestic mountains or the oceans blue; maybe it is just that little cardinal that landed on the tree next to you, and it starts to sing, and you know it is a sign from heaven.
