After his honorable discharge, Leo returned home and married Janet (Leger) in 1950 and together they raised four children.

One of which began at the reputable Conant

Leo had a hand in upholstering a chair that was commissioned for President Kennedy.

He was a self-taught fiddler and guitarist, which took him to many competitions; Leo often came home with trophies, including 1st place trophies throughout New England. His musical career started with the Red River Rangers in1947 which was broadcast on WEIM in Fitchburg, Ma and continued through 2019 with the band, The Fine Tuners, who entertained at nursing homes and assisted living facilities where his musical talents were enjoyed by many.

He truly enjoyed the company of people, especially meeting his friends daily for coffee. It wasn’t unusual for Leo to walk into a store around town and have an acquaintance shout out “Hey Leo!.” He was well known for his great sense of humor and wit. Leo was a wonderful Father, Grand Father, Great Grandfather, and Uncle who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
