LEOMINSTER - Jeannette Y. Desjean of Leominster, MA passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 at U. Mass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Jeannette was born on December 2, 1930 in Fitchburg, MA the daughter of William and Ida (Croteau) Desjean. She lived in Fitchburg until 2013 and then moved to Manor on the Hill in Leominster, MA.

Jeannette was a longtime parishione­r of St. Joseph’s Church and later Our Lady of the Lake.

Jeannette graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in 1948 and worked over 40 years as an office manager for Hedstrom Union, Rene Press, Tack Band and Astor/Tack Band, Inc.

Jeannette leaves her sister Anita Paquette of Leominster and several nieces and nephews. She is predecease­d by her sister, Betty Baldarelli and five brothers, Paul, Armand, Richard, Raymond and Roland Desjean.

Jeannette’s niece, goddaughte­r and healthcare provider Donna Baldarelli Woods would like to thank the staff at Summit Eldercare and Manor on the Hill for their support and kindness. Donna would also like to thank Jeannette’s nephew, Roland Desjean for his loving attention and generosity to his Aunt Jeannette.

For the safety and health of her family and friends, funeral services will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made in Jeannette’s name to Our Lake of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster, MA 01453 to help provide food to those in need.
