End the hypocrisy

-

Regarding your editorial of Jan. 8, “Denouncing Trump’s trampling of our democracy”: How dare you? Where was your outrage earlier in 2020, when Black Lives Matter and Antifa were burning cities, destroying businesses, beating, intimidating, and killing people? Where was the outrage from the Democrats – including our own Representative Lori Trahan? The left insisted that these violent terrorists were “peaceful protesters.” Mayors ordered the police to stand down, allowing protesters to destroy their cities for months. They did not protect their citizens. On Jan. 6 we had a protest against an election that clearly had many irregularities. This day was a chance for some Senators and Congressmen to present our election grievances. We want free and fair elections; the Capitol attack took that chance away from us and focused only on the disaster at hand. Evidence is growing that Antifa orchestrated this Capitol attack. John Sullivan, from Utah has a history of organizing violent Antifa and Black Lives Matter protests. He was caught on film inside the Capitol. America cannot survive if Americans don’t have faith in the electoral process. There are 75 million Americans who think that President Trump is a great president and has done very good things for our country and for all Americans. It seems as if Congress and the media has nothing to do except put down our president. We won’t stand for it! How about fair and balanced reporting from the Lowell Sun?
