Peter J. Tosoni

FITCHBURG - Peter J. Tosoni was born in Fitchburg on June 9, 1954 and was the son of the late Lino and Carolyn Tosoni. He passed away Sunday January 17, 2021 from a short battle with cancer. He was 66 years old. Peter grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1972.

After high school, Peter worked for St. Bernard’s Cemetery for several years before starting his own landscaping business which he loved. Many years later he moved on to working for several companies as a Building and Grounds Technician so he could get benefits and live without the hassle of business ownership. Years later he worked for several construction and painting companies from which he retired.

Peter loved animals and the outdoors. He enjoyed taking his dogs on long walks through

St. Bernard’s Cemetery. He enjoyed going to the ocean beaches with friends and eating out. He liked going to flea markets and looking for a good deal. He always liked a good party and drinking his Long Island Iced Teas. Peter enjoyed the many projects he worked on around his house and yard. He got great therapy from riding his motorcycles, tooting around in his boats and working on his cars.

He leaves behind his sister Donna M. Tosoni from Parrish, FL, as well as several cousins and close friends.

There are no calling hours or funeral services. A private burial will be at a later date. We would like to thank the UMass Memorial Health Alliance Leominster Hospital for taking such good care of Peter during his final days. We also thank his cancer team, Dr. Gultawatvichai and Kim Holman from Burbank Hospital for their fine care and help as well.
