Preparing students to be leaders: Mount Alvernia High School

-

Mount Alvernia High School, an independent Catholic school for young women in grades 7 through 12, prepares its students to be leaders. Since 1927, Mount Alvernia has enlightened and shaped courageous, compassionate and accomplished women. Steeped in the Franciscan tradition of service, our students are given a strong foundation of rigorous academics, opportunities to share their gifts and talents in school and beyond, and a strong moral compass to navigate a changing world. Every day, your daughter will explore her interests through a robust curriculum, a variety of athletics, and a wide range of co-curricular activities. She will be challenged to live by our seven “C’s” values: courage, confidence, character, competence, compassion, commitment and community. She will be nurtured in our tight-knit atmosphere and develop friendships that last a lifetime. Her curiosity will blossom into a desire for lifelong learning. The Mount Alvernia experience will prepare her for college and life - empowering and inspiring her to become who shewas created to be.

We invite you to take a closer look at all that MAHS has to offer. Our In-Person OpenHouse will be held on Sunday, November 7th from 1:30-4:00 pm and a virtual Q&A Session will be held on

Tuesday, November 30th from 6:30-7:30 pm. Prospective students are also encouraged to participate in our Shadow Day Program. Shadow Days are a great way to see what a typical day is like as a student.
