Savannah was nominated by English teacher Bruce Sullivan, who wrote: “Savannah, a senior who takes a mix of very rigorous Advanced Placement and honors classes, is an intelligent, caring, skillful, knowledgeable and ethical student. She writes at a high college level, and her literary analysis is already at an advanced level. Her research paper on ‘Social Media and the Rise of Fast Fashion’ is both timely and informative. She is also a kind and empathetic student who cares about others.”

Sarah O’meara:

of Chelmsford, daughter of Paul and Pam O’meara, is a senior in the Engineering Technology program. She is a high-honors student and has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She has also been involved with the Viking Theatre Guild.

She was recently selected as Nashoba Tech’s nominee for the annual Massachusetts Vocational Association’s Non-traditional Student Award and was accepted to Umass Lowell to study mechanical engineering. Sarah was nominated by Cosmetology instructor Sayda Betsold, who wrote: “Sarah showed professionalism, attention to detail and a willingness to help a teacher at the drop of a hat. I was in search of a student who could create a sign for Cosmetology, and the Engineering instructor sent Sarah. She came right over, asked for specifications and created a mock-up. The proof came out perfect, and I had the requested letter for the sign in my hands the very next day. She was enthusiastic and worked hard to get everything done on time and to my liking.”
