Feeling a presence is spiritual communication

DEAR BONNIE >> My dad passed away six weeks ago and I am devastated. Not only was he my rock and the person that really got me, but he was the only person on Earth I trusted completely. Do not get me wrong, I love my mom, but my dad always knew what I was thinking and why and he never judged me and always made me feel safe, so here is the thing: I have been waking up every night now around 3 a.m. in the morning. I will feel a presence and suddenly I'll jump up out of bed and when I go to look at the clock the time has been all around that time. My question to you is, am I going crazy? Is this my dad trying to communicate with me and does he have a message for me? — Pearl

DEAR PEARL >> Our dads often are very special people in our lives. Remember, we pick our parents before we are born, so chances are that connection is one of the strongest in our lives. We often come down to Earth with our soul's family so it is a very real chance you and your father have been through many lifetimes together. We often switch who will be who in relationships, but our soul's family sticks together. You are not crazy feeling the presence of your dad when he comes to visit you during the night.

Often the hours around 3 a.m. seem to be the sacred hour of communication from the other side. Think of it in this way, your dad crosses over, and he knows how much you miss him and how you are grieving the loss of his physical presence, so he tries to tell you he arrived safely to his destination and not to worry. It's almost like two parents that go on vacation, and they leave their kids with someone to watch over them while they are away, but they worry about them, and they know they will be missed so they call the first chance they get. The same happens when someone crosses over, your loved ones want to let you know they have reached their destination and want to comfort you and let you know they will see you again one day. In the meanwhile these visits are a way to communicate.

The veil between the two worlds is thinner and more easily accessible around the hours of 3 a.m., making communication more available to us. I am living proof of this happening to me for years. It was almost like someone would shake me awake, and when I could not fall back asleep, I would get up and have a cup of tea. This was a normal thing for me, so much so that sometimes my husband would get up to find me sitting and having tea, and he would say, "they woke you up again?"

I would reply "yes, but it is OK." It's not such a bad thing knowing I had had a visit in fact it was comforting.

This is a little exercise you can do. Before you go to bed, say a little prayer and ASK for a VISIT but ask to remember the visit in the morning, so your visits become a memory and a beautiful time of communication.
