Clyde Recre­ation Cen­ter opens

SPRINGVILLE — A rib­bon cut­ting for the Clyde Recre­ation Cen­ter was held on Wednes­day, May 16 at 7 p.m. and was im­me­di­ately fol­lowed by an open house.

The cen­ter of­fi­cially opened on May 24. It will be open Mon­day through Satur­day, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Clyde Recre­ation Cen­ter is the first of its kind in South Utah County. It will of­fer many ameni­ties and ser­vices in­clud­ing fit­ness classes, swim lessons, party rooms, gym­na­sium, leisure pools, com­pe­ti­tion pool, wa­ter slides, play ar­eas, out­door pool, hot tub, child care ser­vices, work­out equip­ment, in­door track, youth camps, and con­ces­sions.

Tom Hold­man, a lo­cal artist was com­mis­sioned to cre­ate the beau­ti­ful stained glass win­dows.

Day passes are $5 for adults, $4 for youth and $ for age 60 plus. Mem­ber­ship pay­ment plans for 12, 6 and 3 months pe­ri­ods are also avail­able.
