Clean up at Sharon Twp.
Details are being announced for Sharon Township’s Spring Cleanup event.
Dumpsters will be made available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 23 and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 24 for residents of Sharon Township to load unwanted refuse to be taken to the landfill, the township announced via email.
“This service is being offered free of charge to private individuals on these dates only,” the announcement stated.
All refuse must be placed in the dumpsters located in front of the Sharon Township Garage at 5141 State Route 61 South, the township said.
“No tires, brush, appliances, mattresses, bedsprings, oil or non-empty paint cans will be accepted,” the announcement stated. “No refuse may be left after the above-mentioned closing hours on Friday (April 23) and Saturday (April 24).”
The Sharon Township Trustees and the Sharon Township Trustees reserve the right to refuse this service to anyone for reasonable cause, the township stated.
