SHELBY- Individuals of all ages throughout the area will have the opportunity to take part in the 128th Annual Sacred Heart Festival this weekend.

On Sunday, July 25, Sacred Heart will welcome people to come enjoy home cooked food and various activities.

This festival is the primary fundraiser that supports the

Sacred Heart School, a preschooleighth grade facility that is open to all denominations.

One of the highlights of this family fun festival is the half chicken (barbecued on the parish grounds) and/or ham dinners. The dinners include mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll and butter, pickled eggs and beets, and a choice of applesauce or coleslaw. There will also be

a choice of coffee, iced tea, or lemonade that is also included in the adult meal. A smaller meal of a quarter chicken with the trimmings will also be available.

For the kids, there will be a wide variety of games to entertain children of all ages. At the festival, a bounce house and putt putt golf will be on the scene. For
