BASEBALL ROUNDUP Cooke Transport tops Lamb Builders
Cooke Transport picked up a 9-2 major division Little League baseball win against Lamb Builders at Copperweld.
Ayden Ensman and Easton Parsons each smashed a triple and a single for Cooke Transport. Connor Parsons tripled and Dalton Downs doubled. Jackson Curry and Chloe Gayheart each had a hit.
Kolstin Lamb and Aaron Munsil each singled for Lamb Builders.
Curry was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts and five walks. Ensman struck out two in relief. Everett Kilgore fanned 11 and walked one in the loss and was relieved by Jacob Shade who had one strikeout and one walk.
