Chef Gordon Ramsay has his fiery dispositio­n out in full force in this cooking competitio­n. At stake is a head chef position, a $250,000 cash prize and, of course, bragging rights as the winner of TV’S most stressful competitio­n. Losing tastes terrible.

Beat Bobby Flay

FOOD 9 p.m.

It’s clear from his complexion that Bobby Flay does not get out much. So Sunny Anderson and Scott Conant team up with chefs Maryam Ghaznavi and Deepak Kaul to school him in the wide new worlds of flavor that will blow his mind — and his taste buds.

Bachelor in Paradise WEWS WSYX 9 p.m.

Everybody deserves another chance at love, especially former Bachelors and Bacheloret­tes. And, what a better way to spark some fireworks than isolating them all on a tropical island? Jesse Palmer hosts and Wells Adams serves as bartender.

The Challenge: USA WBNS WOIO 10 p.m.

Season 2 of “The Challenge: USA” all comes down to this season finale. Hosted by T.J. Lavin, this season brought together great past contestant­s from CBS’S slate of reality shows with veteran competitor­s of MTV’S “The Challenge” for an all-star showdown.

NHL Hockey ESPN 10:30 p.m.

When these teams last met in March of this year, the Chicago Blackhawks were thoroughly embarrasse­d in a 5-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. But with 18-year-old phenom Connor Bedard suited up, the Blackhawks have reason for optimism in Denver.
