Suspicious person, February 28, 5:34 p.m., Plymouth, A female contacted the department regarding to a female parked in the parking lot of Plymouth St, breaking items in the parking lot and screaming from inside the vehicle. The caller also advised that the female was removing parts from her vehicle. Police arrived and searched the female where we located a glass pipe with apparent methamphetamine residue inside of it. The female appeared to be in a mental health crisis and was transported to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The female was charged for Disorderly Conduct, Drug paraphernalia, and littering and was advised
of her court date at SMC.
Theft, February 29, 11:08 p.m., Second,
Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a report of a theft. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who stated that his homemade air compressor was stolen from his property sometime during the day of 02/29/2024. A report was on file and the victim listed those who he believed may be suspects. At this time follow up will be completed to locate the air compressor.
Violation of protection order, February 29, 10:48 a.m., W. Tucker,
Officers were dispatched for a Protection Order Violation. Officers took the victim’s statement and reviewed electronic evidence related to the incident. Charges were approved and a warrant was issued for the suspect since he could not be located. Officers completed a criminal offense report.
Theft, February 29, 4:37 p.m., Lee, Officers were informed of a possible theft complaint at Lee St. Officers collected the information then began an investigation.
Information/public request, March 3, 1:38 p.m., Joelynn, The police department received an anonymous complaint about the suspect having a weapon while under disability. After reviewing the suspects CCH it was determined they did not have a conviction that supported a charge of ORC 2923.13.
