Easter Bunny is hopping into town

The Easter Bunny will be making many stops throughout the area this weekend.

In Shelby on Saturday morning, The Little Shops of Shelby will be hosting an Easter special, Hop On In. This event will feature the Easter Bunny who will be available for photos, along with a live bunny and live chicks. The day will get kicked off at 10 a.m. with cinnamon rolls on the menu for purchase.

From 12-2 p.m., the Easter Bunny will make an appearance, following from 2-4 p.m., the live bunny will be around and then from 12-3 p.m., the live baby chicks will be there.

Any child who comes to the special will get an Easter egg with some goodies inside. For adults, there will be vendors who will have specials going on as well.

Little Shops of Shelby is located at 40 E. Main St.

Also taking place on Saturday morning, the Richland Carrousel will be hosting an egg hunt. This egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. and there will be over 2,000 eggs that are filled with treats.

At Pleasant Hill Lake Park on Saturday, Easter will be celebrated throughout the whole day.

From 10 a.m. to noon, the Easter Bunny will be making its way around the park. For those who happen to catch a glimpse, they can take photos.

At 2 p.m., there will be an Easter egg hunt for those between the ages of 3-15. There will be over 4,000 eggs that are hidden full of goodies.

From 3-4 p.m., there will be Easter crafts taking place. The materials will be provided. In addition, the Nature Center will be open at this time.
