Warrant service, April 11, 10:21 a.m., W. Main, On

the listed date and time, the Crestline Police Department contacted the Shelby Police Department in reference to an arrest warrant. The Crestline Police Department requested an officer make contact with a male subject they have three (3) active warrants for. The male was allegedly visiting a relative at a care center on W. Main St. Officers attempted to locate the subject who was found inside. The male was informed of his warrants and placed under arrest. The male was then transporte­d to meet with an officer from the Crestline Police Department. Transfer was completed without incident. No local charges were issued to the male.

Traffic stop, April 13, 7:59 p.m., S. Gamble,

On the listed date and time while conducting traffic enforcemen­t, officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. Upon running a registrati­on check on the vehicle it was discovered that the registered owner was currently under a license suspension. Officers then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and met with the driver and registered owner. The driver was issued a citation for Driving under a 12pt Suspension and given a court date.

Found property, April 13, 7:54 p.m., Mack, On

the listed date and time the complainan­t turned in found property to the Shelby Police Department. The key was located in the parking lot of a business and belonged to a Lexus and had nail clippers attached to the key ring. Attempts were made to locate the owner but were unsuccessf­ul. The property will be placed into temporary evidence storage pending retrieval from it’s owner.

Animal complaint, April 14, 2:55 p.m., Mickey,

On the listed date and time the complainan­t contacted the police department to report the neighbors dogs came onto her property and she was concerned they were going to attack her. The complainan­t stated this was an ongoing problem with the neighbors dogs. Upon arrival at the neighbors residence police observed two large breed dogs outside. One was under the control of the resident, but the other was at the neighbors property located at Mickey Rd. The resident stated she was in the garage when someone opened the door to her residence and her dogs got out. Police made contact with the complainan­t who explained her three young children were outside when her children’s father and her noticed the two dogs and walked over to their property and were near them. The complainan­t stated recently one of the dogs had attacked and bitten the couples dog. Police again made contact with the resident who didn’t appear capable of properly controllin­g the two dogs. The resident was issued a summons for Animals at Large and given a court date in SMC. A copy of his report was faxed to the Richland County Dog Warden’s Office.
