Kansas splits with Jay; Colcord bounces back

The Kansas girls improved to 7-2 with a 48-8 win against Jay last Friday night.

The Kansas boys dropped to 6-3 after a 6248 loss to Jay.

Both Kansas teams returned to action at Chouteau on Tuesday night. Results were not available at presstime. Both teams host Sperry on Friday.

Colcord

The Colcord boys improved to 2-5 overall with a 64-63 win in overtime against Oaks on Jan. 3.

The Colcord girls defeated Oaks 30-28 and improved to 4-6 overall.

Both teams played at Oklahoma Union on Tuesday. Results were not available at presstime.

Watts

The Watts boys picked up an 86-83 win over Whitesboro on Saturday in the Arkansas River Shootout in Webbers Falls. The Engineers lost to Webbers Falls 72-50 on Jan. 5.

The Watts girls defeated Midway 55-25 on Saturday after losing 62-24 to Savanna on Thursday in Arkansas River Shootout.

Both Watts teams played at Bluejacket on Tuesday. Results were not available at presstime. Both Watts teams play at Braggs on Friday.

Oaks

After losing to Colcord on Jan. 3, the Oaks boys picked up a 72-66 win against Whitesboro on Thursday before losing to Webbers Falls 62-43 in the Arkansas River Shootout.

The Oaks girls defeated Whitesboro 52-42 on Jan. 5 before losing to Porum 70-42 on Jan. 7 in the Arkansas River Shootout.

Both Oaks teams played Webbers Falls on Tuesday. Results were not available at presstime.

Both teams are scheduled to play Hulbert on Friday.
