LETTERS POLICY

All letters must contain a signature, the author’s complete name, address and telephone number for verification purposes.

This newspaper does not publish anonymous letters. Letters must not contain libelous statements or use profanity.

The editor reserves the right to edit or condense letters and to reject any letter.

Letters should be legible, preferably typewritten and doublespaced. Letters must not exceed 400 words.

The editor may restrict letters to one per individual or organization on a single topic.

Thank you letters must be less than 200 words and directed only toward individuals — not businesses or corporations.
