The Walton Lifetime Health Complex on the campus of John Brown University is a participat­ing facility for both SilverSnea­kers and Silver&Fit programs.

These programs are designed for senior Medicare/Medicaid eligible members and offer a unique blend of physical activity for all.

Classes are offered five days a week and are taught by certified instructor­s.

Classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

There also is a class that meets in the indoor pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday called “Splash.” If eligible, a SilverSnea­kers or Silver&Fit membership could be covered by insurance at no charge or for a maximum of $25 a year.

Golf fundraiser

A fundraiser golf tournament for Siloam Springs Country Club will be held June 23-25 at the club.

It’s a nine-hole tournament and there are several formats available to participat­e in — one-man tournament, one-man scramble, two-man best ball, two-man scramble and two-man alternate shot.

Entry fee is $20 for each category and there is a gift with each entry.

Flights and prizes will be determined based on the number of entries in each category.

A free pancake breakfast will be held on June 24 from 8 to 10 a.m.

Tee times are recommende­d.
