Kids ‘tri’ hard, en­joy an­other suc­cess­ful event

Lo­cal res­i­dents and their kids con­vened at the fam­ily aquatic cen­ter on Satur­day morn­ing to par­tic­i­pate in the an­nual Kids Triathlon.

A to­tal of 21 kids went home with a prize after plac­ing first, sec­ond or third in their re­spec­tive di­vi­sions. The di­vi­sions were de­ter­mined by age — 6 and younger, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 — as well as by gen­der.

For girls ages 6 and younger, the win­ner was Evie Cor­nett, while sec­ond place went to Olive Car­roll and third place to Rose Ulinger. For boys in this age group, the win­ner was Samuel Smith, while sec­ond place went to Tan­ner Bunker and third place to Bray­den Grif­fin. For girls ages 7-8, the win­ner was Evie Hue­bert, while sec­ond place went to Avery Carver and third place to Ken­dall Carver. For boys in this age group, the win­ner was Ro­man Dees, and there were no other boys in this group.

As for girls ages 9-10, the win­ner was Norah Perkins, while sec­ond place went to Ad­di­son Har­ris and third place to Cale Fox. For boys in this age group, the win­ner was Deacon Maples, while sec­ond place went to Cooper Bunker and third place to Noah Rankin.

Lastly, for girls ages 11-12, the win­ner was Is­abelle Pas­toor, while sec­ond place went to Ad­di­son Hue­bert and third place to Amy Blaha. For boys in this age group, the win­ner was Ster­ling Maples, sec­ond place went to Gabe Fox, and there were no other boys in this group.
