Classes to begin Aug. 8 at Colcord schools
Colcord, Okla., Schools are preparing to begin classes on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Buses will arrive at school between 7:45 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. each morning.
New student enrollment
Enrollment for new students of all grade levels began on July 29 and will extend through Aug. 2. Students can enroll from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Birth certificate, immunization records, social security card, and CDIB card (if available) will be required at the time of enrollment for all new students to the district.
In addition, all students entering seventh and eighth grade must provide documentation of having received three doses of Hepatitis B, two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine, and one T-dap booster.

Prekindergarten and kindergarten enrollment
Prekindergarten and kindergarten enrollment began July 29 and will continue through Aug. 2. It will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the elementary school building.
In order to enroll in prekindergarten, a student must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2019. In order to enroll in kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2019. Parents are required to furnish an official birth certificate, immunization record, social security card and CDIB card (if available).
Immunizations required for prekindergarten are four DTP, three Polio, 1 MMR, three Hepatitis B, two Hepatitis A, and one Varicella. Those immunizations required for Kindergarten are five DTP, four Polio, two MMR, three Hepatitis B, two Hepatitis A, and one Varicella.
High School Open House
The high school open house will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. A special open house for freshmen will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and an open house for sophomores will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1.
