Samuel H. Grobe Jr.

Samuel H. Grobe Jr., 89, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died August 3, 2019, at Siloam Springs Regional Medical Center. Born June 25, 1930, in Parsons, Kansas, he was the son of Samuel H. Grobe Sr. and Mildred Marie Moore. Sam married Zola Dibben in Kansas City, Missouri, on December 31, 1950. They moved to this area several years ago where they owned Nichols Variety and then he went to work for the City of Siloam Springs as a street superinten­dent. He was a member of First Baptist Church Siloam Springs and was a Mason.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marianna Clark.

Survivors include his wife Zola of the home; daughter, Teresa Douthit and husband Allan of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; grandchild­ren, Malachi Douthit of Sydney, Australia, and Rachel Green of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and six great-grandchild­ren.

Eula Mae Kindle

Eula Mae Kindle, 86, of Springdale, Ark., died Aug. 4, 2019, at her home.

She was born May 31, 1933, in Hominy,

Okla., to William Rex Dotson and Flora Blaine Lay. She graduated high school in Blackwell, Okla., and graduated from Josie’s School of Cosmetolog­y. She married Melvin “Eldean” Kindle on Dec. 26, 1969. She attended church at Church of God in Blackwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, R.T. Coffey; her husband; a brother, Bob Coffey; a sister, Patty Coffey; and a granddaugh­ter, Kyra Gregory.

She is survived by a son, Kyle Kindle and wife Bridgette of Ward, Ark.; a daughter, Deanna Gregory and husband Mike of Springdale; five grandchild­ren; and four greatgrand­children.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will be at Proctor Cemetery in Proctor, Okla.

Virginia Lorene Ennis McClellan

Virginia Lorene Ennis McClellan, 92, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 5, 2019.

She was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Henry Madison Ennis and Pearl Lorene Davis Ennis. She lived most of her life in Gentry, Ark. She married Troy Dow McClellan on Feb. 2, 1947, in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was a member of Gentry First Assembly of God, where she taught Sunday school, vacation bible school, and helped build two churches. She loved to travel, fish, hunt and always had a cup of coffee for all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Dow McClellan; two brothers, James Luther Ennis and Charles Edward Ennis; and two sisters, Wilda Lucy McChristia­n and Nona Mae Evans.

She is survived by her son, David McClellan of the home; and a sister, Elise Lois Davidson of Siloam Springs.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Gentry First Assembly of God, with Pastor Michael Powers officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Associatio­n.
