DaySpring appoints Jeff Nichols as vice president and general manager
A Siloam Springs-based company and leading provider of Christian greeting cards, gifts, books, and décor has announced that Jeff Nichols will serve as the company’s new leader in the role of vice president and general manager.
With over two decades of diverse experience within DaySpring, Nichols is a seasoned leader with a profound understanding of the company’s consumers and its comprehensive business operations, according to a news release on Nov. 10.
“Jeff’s exceptional dedication to DaySpring’s mission and keen insights into our business opportunities uniquely qualify him for this pivotal role,” says Colleen Hochberg, vice president of Hallmark Cards Inc., DaySpring’s parent company.
A well-known figure within the Siloam Springs community and citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Nichols has lived and contributed to the local community for more than 22 years. During his tenure at DaySpring, he has served in various organizational roles, including key finance, demand planning, marketing, IT, and analytics positions. Before this promotion, Nichols served as vice president of DaySpring Analytics, Strategy & Finance.
As he embarks on this new journey, Nichols expresses his humility and eagerness to serve DaySpring, its consumers, and its mission.
“DaySpring has been making Christ known through our products and services for over 50 years. I’m excited to contribute to another 50 years of growth,” Nichols said. “Our people are our competitive advantage, and our success hinges on this differentiator. We will continue to adapt and transform our business model to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace and our consumers.”
Nichols holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Northeastern State University and a master of business administration degree from John Brown University, where he also serves as an adjunct professor of business. Residing in Siloam Springs with his spouse and three children, Nichols enjoys reading and running. He actively engages in youth ministries and treasures quality time spent with his family.
