Deck the House Christmas Decorating Contest Around Town
It’s time for a Holly Jolly Christmas in Siloam Springs with the 4th Annual Deck the House Decorating Contest.
This festive competition is back, calling on all Siloam Springs residents to join in the holiday festivities. Registration closed on December 12 for this citywide celebration.
One champion from each city ward will be selected, with each winner receiving $100. The announcement of these winners will take place on December 24, resulting in four Deck the House champions. Additionally, after the initial winners are announced, the community will have the opportunity to vote for the Crowd Favorite Winner on social media from the four ward champions. The Crowd Favorite will receive an additional $100. Get ready to light up Siloam Springs and spread holiday joy to all.
Upcoming City Closures for the Holidays
Offices at the city of Siloam Springs will be closed December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 15. The closure includes all city administration offices and the Siloam Springs Public Library. Additionally, the transfer station will also be closed on December 25 and 26.
Residential sanitation routes will experience a oneday delay the week of Christmas, resulting in trash collection being postponed by one day from its usual schedule. The transfer station will be closed on January 1.

Note that due to holiday closures, the City Board regular meetings have been rescheduled for January 9 and January 23. The Planning Commission will convene at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, followed by the regular board meeting at 6:30 p.m. February 2024 meetings will return as normal.
Bridge Club
Siloam Springs Bridge Club meets to play bridge at 11 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month.
