B&B: STEFFY SPIES BROOKE AND BILL KISSING!

-

Brooke angrily confronts her husband after discovering he tampered with Katie’s custody hearing. Later, Steffy realizes her father is troubled about something and questions why he and his wife are squabbling. “Steffy knows that her dad and Brooke were on opposite sides of the custody battle, so she knows that this is somehow related to Bill,” states Jacqueline Macinnes Wood (Steffy). “Steffy knows how her father feels about Bill because of everything she has gone through with him. But, Steffy feels bad for Bill losing custody. If a child is not able to see their father, that’s extremely tough, and knowing that her own father is okay with that troubles Steffy. It’s almost like Ridge is trying to ignite something, and Steffy sees this as some kind of payback. She doesn’t know if her dad’s intentions are in the right place.”

Steffy then gets the shock of her life when she spies Brooke and Bill kissing. “It blows her away,” Wood relays. “But it also proves Steffy right, that Brooke has always been shady and done questionable things. Brooke thinks about herself and only herself, and she just goes off and does what she wants to do based on how she feels in that moment. She just proved Steffy right, especially after how Brooke came at Steffy not too long ago. She accused Steffy of doing all of these horrible things and yet here she is, doing this behind closed doors. Steffy is completely floored.”

However, Steffy chooses not to confront her philandering stepmother directly. “Steffy could go in on Brooke and really lay into her, but she’s more calculating than that,” Wood chuckles. Instead, Steffy spills the beans to Ridge. “It’s heartbreaking when Steffy has to be the one to deliver this bad news to her father,” the actress sighs. “Especially knowing that they’ve already had one bump in the road with the whole Steffy/liam/hope situation, but he deserves to know the truth. She does try to break it gently instead of a rapid-fire reveal, but for her to see her strong, powerful father wounded and hurt breaks her heart.”

Ridge then goes to confront Brooke, leaving Steffy wondering about the fate of her father’s marriage. “Steffy fears her father may not be able to recover from this,” Wood hedges. “Her father is at his breaking point with Bill, so she doesn’t know what might happen next.”

“Brooke has always been shady.”
