LOSING HAND

Determined to help Billy keep his job, Phyllis asks Jack to loan his brother the money to pay back his gambling debts, but doesn’t mention that Billy secretly used funds from Jabot. Jack agrees to help, but only on the condition that Billy go to rehab to work on his issue. Billy accepts Jack’s offer and thanks Phyllis for not giving up on him. However, before Billy can replace the money, Kyle and Ashley tattle to Traci about the embezzleme­nt, then call an emergency board meeting. Ashley exposes Billy’s misdeeds, and the board ousts him as CEO, replacing him with Traci. A wounded Billy accuses his family of sabotaging him and storms out. Phyllis follows, vowing to stand by him, and asks him to accompany her to Sharon and Nick’s wedding before he leaves for rehab. Meanwhile, Ashley is overcome with guilt over using her brother’s addiction against him and blasts Kyle for fueling Billy’s gambling problem.

COLD FEET?

Sharon tries to shake off her doubts about marrying the new man Nick has become. Meanwhile, Mariah agonizes over whether or not to tell Sharon about Nick’s tryst with Phyllis. A heartfelt conversati­on with Faith prompts Mariah to realize that she can’t let her mother go into marriage blindly. Mariah reveals Nick’s infidelity to Sharon, who is dumbfounde­d. However, Sharon recovers and insists she’ll go through with the wedding. She sends the bridesmaid­s ahead to the church, promising to follow.

Abby and Nikki persuade Victor to attend the wedding. At the church, Phyllis and Summer assure Nick that they’ll keep his secret, and wish him happiness with Sharon.

Mariah becomes concerned when Sharon doesn’t show up at the church. She returns to the ranch and is stunned to find Sharon gone. Moved by the romance of the day, Billy asks Phyllis to marry

him. Caught off-guard, Phyllis asks for time to make up her mind.

STAYING PUT

Arturo learns that Rey is putting down roots in Genoa City and is moving in above the coffeehous­e. The brothers agree to an uneasy truce. Lola and Kyle, meanwhile, grow closer.

CHANGE UP

Could Sharon (Sharon Case) have overlooked Nick’s one-night romp if it hadn’t been with Phyllis? Joshua Morrow responds: “Possibly, but given the history between these two women, it’s certainly understand­able why Sharon can’t forgive and forget quite yet.”

Nick is touched when Noah shows up for the nups, but they become worried about Sharon’s absence. Mariah frets that she never told her brother about her new relationsh­ip with Tessa. Summer outs the women, resulting in an awkward situation with Noah. Just as Nick is about to call off the wedding, Mariah receives word from Sharon, and the ceremony begins.

As the nups get underway, Phyllis accepts Billy’s proposal. Sharon starts to recite her vows, then decides to speak from the heart. Everyone is shocked when Sharon not only calls out Nick for sleeping with Phyllis, but announces she can’t go through with the wedding.

SPLIT DECISION

A furious Billy dumps Phyllis after hearing Sharon’s reveal. Meanwhile, Nick tries to convince Sharon that they can fix things, but she refuses to believe it and slaps him across the face. Nick and Billy almost come to blows, but Phyllis and Jack break them up. Sharon refuses to speak to Nick, so Mariah and Noah insist that their parents sit down and talk. Sharon and Nick address their problems. Nick tries to persuade Sharon to take him back, but Sharon refuses, insisting that this time they have to end things for good. Resolute, she kicks him out of the house, but Nick insists that he won’t give up on her.

Mariah apologizes for lying to Noah, who wishes her well in her relationsh­ip with Tessa.
