Yes, Katie and Thorne’s courtship was brief, but people have gotten married for far less plausible reasons than wanting to present a united front in a custody case. Their quickie nups in the Forrester living room — natch! — was lovely and had its sweet moments. Both Katie and Thorne have lived in the shadow of their older siblings, and loved and lost in the past, so seeing the duo take center stage for once was especially touching. Will played a big role in the day — he was with the Logan sisters when they got ready, he got a boutonniere from Thorne, he was called up to the altar in the middle of the service — which was only fitting since the “I do’s” were ultimately about him. Sure, the whole storyline felt a little crammed into one episode, but that’s okay. These are beloved characters we’ve known for decades who genuinely seem to love another, and we’re rooting for them to make it work.
