Missing In Action

We understand that Marci Miller will be soon be wrap- ping up her stint as DAYS’S Abigail, but is the show trying to get us to a point where we don’t care about the character when she does? Abby and Chad spent the better part of the last year on the front burner, but now the two have all but disappeared from the screen. (And taken JJ with them, it seems.) We get that the canvas might be a little crowded right now, but the setup for the story — a vengeful Gabi switched Abby’s paternity results to name Stefan as the dad of her baby — surely warrants more than once-a-week play. It’s getting to the point that the only way to mark time in between appearances is how much Abigail’s bump has grown. “Chabby” has been the couple to root for in Salem for years; seeing the duo vanish this way is downright perplexing and does a disservice to Miller, Billy Flynn (Chad) and their very loyal fans.
