DAYS OF OUR LIVES Ciara Learns The Truth

Ben informs Ciara that it was Tripp, not Wyatt, who framed him for the cabin fire. “She is surprised,” says Robert Scott Wilson (Ben). “And probably doesn’t want to think it’s true, but Ben has the facts to back it up because he cornered Wyatt and shook it out of him, literally. He’s pretty sure of it.”

After, Ben spies Claire with Wyatt and asks why she was working with him to help Tripp. “Ben knows how she operates and knows that she’s very maniacal and has her own agenda,” notes Wilson. “But he’s looking at her, like, ‘You’re not gonna run one past me,’ and at the same time, he’s trying to get the truth out of her.” Claire insists that her scheme will work out for them in the end.

Ciara, meanwhile, confronts Tripp and the two split up. She later runs into Ben, who wonders if there could be a future for them. “He has an opportunity to express how he feels and put himself out there, so I think he’s going to get his feet wet and see how she feels,” shares Wilson. “But it’s a tricky situation.”

BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Hope Helps Steffy

With so much to be happy about, Hope is looking forward to another Thanksgiving. “It’s a moment for Hope to pause and feel grateful,” states Annika Noelle (Hope). “Liam is her husband. They have a baby on the way, and she is hoping that this promise of a united family with Steffy and Kelly can be a reality and they can make this work.”

However, Hope catches Steffy confessing to Liam that the holiday will be hard for her because it’s Kelly’s first Thanksgiving and she thought they’d be celebrating it as husband and wife. “Hope has been there,” notes Noelle. “She has been the one who has been left out, so she’s honestly feeling sympathetic toward Steffy. Hope understands where she’s coming from, and rather than snipe, she tries to make the occasion happy for everyone.”

The family gathers at the mansion, and Hope’s tradition of saying something nice to the person on their right before dinner continues. “Hope and Steffy actually worked together on the seating arrangement, so instead of them, you can look forward to Pam and Quinn’s speeches this year!” Noelle teases.

YOUNG AND RESTLESS Devon Drowns His Sorrows

A spiraling Devon throws a party at his penthouse filled with hipsters, booze and loud music. “Everybody who’s been there at Devon’s side to support and help him through Hilary’s death have gone back to their own lives, so now he’s facing the reality of being alone with his grief,” explains Bryton James (Devon). “He’s trying to numb himself to the pain.”

Nate shows up and expresses his concern over Devon’s actions. Notes James, “Even though Nate lost his girlfriend, he comes off as knowing how everybody should feel and respond over losing a loved one, and Devon objects to that.”

The next day, a hungover Devon surveys his trashed living room. While cleaning up, he comes across a shattered frame of him and Hilary. “It’s symbolic of what he’s going through,” says James. “What he had with Hilary is in pieces. His behavior is becoming more destructive — and it looks like he’ll take himself down a rougher path before some changes are made.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL Thanksgiving In Port Charles

GH’S holiday celebration starts this week and continues next week, with many citizens getting in on the gobble-gobble in the lead-up to Curtis and Jordan’s wedding.

With her own marriage crumbling, says Co-head Writer Shelly Altman, “Laura makes time for her closer family on Thanksgiving.” Meanwhile, “Kim enlists Julian in a potentially reckless plan to make sure that Oscar goes through with the [experimental drug] trial.” Oscar’s ex, Josslyn, gets a holiday surprise, according to Co-head Writer Chris Van Etten. “Cameron goes to Josslyn intent on revealing his feelings for her, but in the course of doing that, he winds up revealing much more.”

Another pair of exes, Jason and Sam, spend Thanksgiving together, along with their son, Danny. “What starts out as a little family celebration ends in circumstances that force Sam and Jason to spend the night together,” Altman teases. Lastly, she says, “The Quartermaines do come together and manage to spend Thanksgiving with all the Quartermaine traditions.”
