Y&R: Victoria Threatens Tessa

-

■ Convinced that Tessa has a copy of the video of Victoria, Nikki, Sharon and Phyllis burying J.T.’S body, Victoria decides to confront Ms. Porter on her own. “Victoria feels she has to take the lead and be proactive, because she has seen her mom stressing out and the women keep butting heads on what they should do,” explains Amelia Heinle (Victoria). “There are too many cooks in the kitchen, and Victoria makes this executive decision on her own. Things are getting too far out of hand and Victoria feels that this is ultimately left up to her. She needs to personally take care of this.”

When Tessa comes home, she’s taken aback to find Victoria sitting in her living room. Tessa asks why Victoria is there, and she responds that Tessa already knows the answer. “Victoria can see that Tessa is nervous, but she tries to be indignant,” shares Heinle. “She doesn’t want Victoria in her living room — but as their conversation goes on, Tessa realizes she’s been busted.”

Tessa denies having another flash drive but Victoria doesn’t believe her. “Victoria would’ve made a copy to protect herself in the same situation, so being the savvy businesswoman that she is, she knows that Tessa must have done the same,”

“Things are getting too far out of hand.”

Heinle notes. “Victoria is taking a page out of her dad’s playbook and is using intimidation to get what she wants. She knows this is how Victor would take care of a problem like this. I mean, it was really scummy of Tessa to blackmail them, so Victoria thinks Tessa has this coming.”

Tessa stands her ground, which annoys Victoria. “Now Victoria is getting really impatient,” sighs Heinle. “This is interesting — you can feel sorry for Tessa because she needed to pay off a debt with the guys who helped her sister, but you can also feel badly for Victoria and her group because they have been through so much turmoil.”

Left with no other choice, Victoria threatens to pin J.T.’S murder on Tessa. “That shakes her up,” Heinle previews. “Victoria plays her by saying, ‘This is how I could make it look if I wanted to,’ and Tessa gets really scared. She’s lied to a lot of people, so she knows that she’s not the most credible person. Still, is this enough to make her cave?”
