Josslyn Confronts Oscar
After Cameron spills to Josslyn that Oscar has cancer, Joss tracks down her ex and gives him a piece of her mind for lying to her. “She’s really upset that he didn’t tell her that he was sick,” sets up Eden Mccoy (Josslyn). “They were each other’s everything, and all of a sudden, she lost him without any explanation. And she thinks his cancer is curable — until she talks to him, obviously.”
When Oscar explains how bleak his prognosis is, Joss is understandably shaken. According to Mccoy, “It’s the worst news she could possibly receive, and she feels the pain of it and how serious it is, but she doesn’t wallow in it,” she explains. “She gets down to business pretty quickly. She knows that she will probably lose Oscar [to his illness] but she wants to be with him for whatever time he has left.” When she finds out that he does have a treatment option available, albeit a risky one, she implores him to enter the experimental drug trial. “Josslyn is a fighter, and she wants him to fight, too.”
