Zoe’s Dad Comes To Town
Zoe is surprised when her father, Dr. Reese Buckingham, comes to town. “They haven’t had the best relationship in the world,” says portrayer Wayne Brady. “He is intense in appearance. He is a doctor who comes in and charms everyone, but the only person he can’t seem to charm is his own daughter, and the rest will unfold from there. He’s trying to make a home here, and so we just have to see if it’s going to work out between them. He wants nothing more than to have a relationship with his little girl. She may be a grown woman now but as a parent, she will always be his little girl.”
The good doctor is in for a shock when he learns that, as a Forrester Creations model, his “little girl” is making a living in her underwear. “I think that would be a tough pill for any father to swallow,” chuckles Brady. “Even though she has been on her own and making her way in the world, it’s not his first choice for what he’d want his daughter to be doing. That will only add to their conflict.”
