bargain hunter

■ Kassie Depaiva (Eve, DAYS) is all about finding a deal when it comes to shopping, be it for fashion or her home. “I am a Marshalls kind of gal,” she admits. “I love bargain shopping. I rarely buy anything at full retail price. Homegoods, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx are all in the same family, and I love to shop at all of them. First, I discovered T.J. Maxx, then came Marshalls and Homegoods.”

As far as top items she’s found from these retailers over the years, Depaiva says, “Everything I buy at these stores are treasures.

That’s why I buy them. I’m looking around my apartment now, and there’s a table I love. I like to keep the price tags underneath things, too, so I can go, ‘I paid $29.99 for that right there.’ ”

When she needs something more high-end, “Every now and then I buy something really fabulous. But if I need something really fabulous to wear, I’ll borrow it from [DAYS] wardrobe. I don’t go any place where I have to be that fabulous.”
