2013: After Stephanie’s passing, Hope took over Forrester Thanksgiving hosting duties and besides planning dinner, made the occasion an engagement party for Rick and Caroline. Newly divorced from Bill and in charge at Spencer Publications, Katie had Bill banned from his own building. Donna attempted to broker peace between Katie and Brooke after the latter’s dalliance with Bill. Katie said she’d try to forgive, but it would take time, while Brooke promised Katie she’d never be with Bill again. As Wyatt pined for Hope, Bill advised him to respect Liam and Hope’s relationship. Wyatt called his dad a hypocrite, since Bill vowed to win back Brooke. Eric insisted the family volunteer to help feed the homeless before their festivities began. Newly returned Aly was thrilled to take her place at the family table, while the Fullers were thankful to be a part of a large family celebration. Hope started a new tradition at dinner where everyone had to say something nice to the person on their right. After Quinn and Eric shared a secret kiss, she found herself jealous of his closeness with Donna. Rick surprised Caroline with an impromptu Thanksgiving wedding. 2008: Rick pursued Steffy, but she shunned him, reminding him that he’d dated her twin, had been engaged to her mother and sent her beau, Marcus, to Paris. Steffy accused Rick of only wanting her to get back at Ridge. He protested that while he did hate Ridge, he did care about her. They agreed to be friends, but Rick continued to push the platonic boundaries, and vowed to stop Ridge from remarrying his mother. Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott resigned from Forrester Creations to return to Genoa City. Wanting his parents back together, Thorne set up Donna to cheat on Eric with Owen, but she resisted. Eric was ready to kick Stephanie out of the mansion, especially after she tried to drown Donna in a tub. However, Thorne hired models who resembled Donna and Owen to have sex, then showed Eric the surveillance footage of the tryst. Eric was furious and told Donna their marriage was over. Donna was confused and devastated.
2003: After Thorne and Darla’s one-night stand resulted in her pregnancy, Thorne asked Darla to move into the beach house. Armed with the knowledge that Brooke might be carrying Nick’s child, Sally tried to blackmail Brooke to get her company back by threatening to spill the beans to Ridge. Brooke, who had already told the truth to Ridge, fretted that Sally might blab to Stephanie. Just as Steph vowed to stay out of her sons’ love lives, Brooke confessed her paternity pickle, insisting she only had grief sex with Nick because she believed Ridge had perished. Steph was livid and spat that Brooke would never change. Realizing that Brooke and Darla had the same obstetrician, Sally stole a peek at Brooke’s file. Meanwhile, Eric was furious when Bridget reunited with Deacon. Deacon vowed to never come between Bridget and her father again. Just as they were about to make love, Eric burst in. He grabbed Deacon’s gun and a struggle ensued. Eric accidentally shot Deacon, who was left paralyzed. 1998: Rick fell for Kimberly, even though Amber was pregnant with his child. Brooke told Amber that while
Rick would take responsibility for the baby, that didn’t mean that he’d marry her. Despite his feelings for Kimberly, however, Rick felt the need to do right by his child and decided to wed Amber. As Pierce tried to ingratiate himself into Taylor’s life, Ridge warned him to stay away from his wife. Taylor apologized to Pierce for Ridge’s behavior. At Forrester, Stephanie was not happy to see Ridge and Brooke working so closely on the Brooke’s Bedroom line. When Brooke had a bed moved into her office, she asked Ridge to join her; he declined. Later, Stephanie entered and saw Brooke asleep, calling Ridge’s name. Steph crawled into bed and gave Brooke a scare.
1993: Charlton Heston enlisted the aid of old pal Stephanie for a “Salute to Hollywood” fundraiser. Sally wanted in and approached Charlton on the sly. Unaware of the Forrester/spectra feud, he unwittingly agreed. After learning Anthony was interested in Macy, jealous Thorne demanded she have him fired from Spectra. Macy was tempted to have a drink, but resisted. Taylor attempted to get to the bottom of James’s issues with his dead father. When she booked a trip to Scotland to dig deeper, he objected. Ridge was jealous of the amount of time Taylor was spending with James, but she assured him she was going alone. At the last minute, James changed his mind and accompanied Taylor. On the flight, James admitted his father was alive. When Ridge learned that James did travel with Taylor, he believed his wife had lied to him, which delighted Brooke.
